Broke students love to earn some money, as the fat kid loves cake. There are plenty of ways to make extra money, but most students are simply too lazy to take advantage of them.

The following is a list of five simple ways for students to make extra money during the school year. There should be something for every type of college student, from the lazy to be ambitious, on the list.

1. Open High Yield Savings Account

This is by far the easiest (and laziest) way to make extra money. All you have to do is open your high-yield savings account, invest Your Money in it, and wait. Every month you can earn some extra cash in your account. The catch is that you have some money to put into the account in the first place.

If you receive a reimbursement of student loans, high yield savings account is a great place to introduce it in cash. Why let them sit dormant in the current account, where you can earn extra money can be a large savings account performance? You can also get $ 25 bonus from ING Direct when you open an account with at least $ 250 initial deposit.

2. Get a part-time work

Enough of the laziness, most students have lots of free time (more if you skip class). Whether you want to admit it or not, there is no excuse for not getting a part-time job when you are in school. Get a campus job events in a computer lab if you want a low-key, low stress job where you get paid to do your homework ... mean, monitor the computer room.

The key is to find a part-time job that allows you to balance school with work and still leave you enough time to socialize with your friends.

3. Sell something you do not need

Used books, CDs, DVDs, video games, iPods, and anything else you can find on eBay. Chances are every college student has at least one thing that they no longer need, so sell it for extra money. If you want to avoid the problems shipping your items and then sell locally by passing objects on Facebook Marketplace.

4. Make Money Online

You can earn extra money online, and it is quite simple. However, you cannot make you a millionaire overnight (or for a week or a month). If you put enough effort into it anyway, maybe you can pay back your student loans with the money you make online. Here is a sample of the many opportunities out there:

Write articles on Associated Content and make money with your own articles based on the performance.
Make a video, upload them to Revver, and to cut advertising revenue.

5. Do freelance work

Home sitting, pet care, tennis lessons, commissioned works of art, tutoring, web design, knitting, computer repair, or whatever else you are good to do. The beauty of freelance opportunity is that you can do something that you really love, and you will pay for it. The biggest challenge is to find these opportunities (aka cheating people pay you to do stuff that is really fun).

Networking becomes your best friend when it comes to freelance work. Someone might be one of the professor's house / pet sit while they are out of town. A friend of a friend knows someone who wants a web site.
