The current fee for a CLEP test is $60 ($65, effective July 1, 2007), but a CLEP test is free for the members of military services. Presently, CLEP test are available in Business, Composition and Literature, Foreign Languages, History and Social Sciences, and Science and Mathematics. A business CLEP test can help earning 3 to 6 credits; Composition and Literature CLEP test can help earning 6 credits; Foreign Languages CLEP test can help earning 6 to 18 credits; History and Social Sciences CLEP test can help earning 3 to 6 credits; and Science and Mathematics can help earning 3 to 6 credits
