The Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a full-time (32-40 hours per week) Research Nurse. This position will apply professional knowledge, skills and training to help conduct research work in a particular discipline. Wth limited supervision, plan, evaluate, coordinate and/or manage elements of multiple or complex research projects for a designated department, program, or central unit. Duties can span a broad range of activities, or be primarily focused within one or more areas of the clinical research spectrum.
Primary Duties
*Perform chart abstractions of study information from hospital records *Print source documents as needed *Complete case report forms *Assist with the creation and modification of case report forms *Perform quality checks on abstracted data *Serve as a resource person to other staff on the research study *Act as a liaison with area hospital staff and/or satellite facilities *Maintain mandatory compliance training as required *Related other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
*BSN or RN with equivalent education/experience *2-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in an academic or clinical setting, research and/or neurology experience is a plus *Current/valid RN license to practice in the State of Ohio. If applicant has a valid RN License in a state other than Ohio, the applicant must be willing to obtain an Ohio RN license
