Description:
The School of Business, Economics, and Technology (SOBET) seeks a self-motivated team player for the position of Academic Program Support Coordinator. This full-time position is immediately available, reports to the Dean, and supports all the faculty of SOBET. This position has broad responsibilities and assists with administrative duties and daily operations in a busy office atmosphere. Other duties include oversight of two student employees, managing the Dean’s calendar, scheduling course offering and instructors, maintenance of print and electronic file systems, assist in processes related to faculty hiring, and facilitate the planning and execution of certain meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills, be well-organized, capable of managing detailed operations with interruptions, have a willingness to participate in a team environment, and use discretion and professionalism in communicating details of university operations outside of the office. The final candidate should have a high proficiency in each of the following: organizational skills, communication skills, people skills, and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor degree and experience managing an office.
