The
Alexander Blewett III School of Law
invites applications for a
Student Services Associate
to oversee administrative duties in support of student services, the registrar, and dean of students.
Student Services is a hub of activity at the law school. The Student Services office includes a large window/counter area that opens up to the center atrium on the first floor of the law building. Students, faculty, staff, and members of the public consistently engage with Student Services due to its central location and role as a resource for information in the law school and at the University.
The Student Services Associate performs three important roles:
Acts as the primary point of contact for the Student Services office, providing extensive customer service to current law students, full-time faculty and adjuncts, and graduates regarding student records from matriculation to post-graduation, character and fitness certification, law school assignments, and midterm and final examinations.
Maintains course, class, and student records and processes requests from current students and law school graduates regarding character and fitness certification, GPA and degree confirmation, and other documentation.
Serves in the mission-critical areas of student retention, persistence to graduation, communication, and student development and support.
The Student Services associate plays an integral role in the law school and serves as a key member of the law school team. Participation in law school activities and events and engagement with the law school community is imperative.

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Moodle, Outlook, Adobe Reader, scanner, copy machine, and multi-line phone.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team of professionals.
Minimum Required Experience
Associate’s degree and two (2) years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency with Excel, and Banner.
