Description:
Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of Mental Health Advisors who carry out 1:1 assessments, deliver projects, provide mental health expertise to senior fauclty staff as well as delivering personal development groups. You will: hold a relevant professional qualification such as Registered Mental Health Nurse/Community Psychiatric Nurse/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Probation Officer and/or substantial experience of providing mental health advice and assessment to vulnerable adults. have significant experience of providing mental health support services within a demanding environment such as HE/FE, NHS, Social Work or voluntary sector to clients with moderate to severe mental health difficulties. have experience of crisis management and coping with stressful and sometimes life threatening situations. have knowledge and competence in assessing psychological distress and risk with clients, including suicidal behaviour.
