Description:
The Faculty of Health’s Professional Development Unit (PDU) offers upwards of 80 postgraduate programmes and 250 module deliveries per annum, aimed at registered healthcare professionals seeking to continue their professional development. The broader Faculty also has a large student body, with funding often deriving from sponsorship via NHS Trust partners or other organisations active in the Healthcare sector. You will be responsible for activities associated with securing payment for the places offered to students on these many programmes and modules of study. Liaising closely with the Student Fees Officer within Academic Registry, you will bear responsibility for the invoicing of sponsoring organisations and the gathering of Purchase Orders to enable this invoicing to take place successfully. Working closely with the PDU Admissions team, you will ensure that all outstanding payments are gathered. You will have experience of operating in a customer facing role and will be comfortable working in an office-based environment. You will relish communicating with many people and working as part of a team to reach a common goal. You will enjoy keeping a close handle on financial data, possess excellent attention to detail and take pride in meeting set targets.
