Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.We are searching for a\u00A0Full Time Special Education\u00A0Teacher\u00A0to join our agency.\u00A0This position is located in AlbanyResponsibilities:Serve as a leader of the classroom, providing direction to an interdisciplinary team of professionals and paraprofessionals.Supervise and directing the work of classroom education staff.Collaborate with parents, school districts and other agencies to ensure that student needs are met.Minimum Qualifications:Initial NYS Certification in Special Education.Bachelor\u2019s degree in Special Education and (currently pursuing Masters).Master\u2019s degree in Special Education is preferredMust be able to lift 50 pounds independentlyMinimum of two years of experience with students with multiple disabilities.\u00A0Creative and energetic The compensation range for a Bachelors level for this position is $28.00 to $32.00 and the range for a Masters level for this position is $28.00-$32.00.
