Job Description:
The Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Cultures at Assumption University seeks to hire one part-time adjunct instructor for the Spring 2023 semester to teach one section of SPA 102 Spanish II.
The section of SPA 102 Spanish II meets on M/W/F 11:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m. All classes are capped at 18 students. Class meetings for the Spring 2023 semester run from January 9 through April 29, which includes the final exam week.
Adjuncts are welcomed as important contributors to the department, to our students, and are provided with office space, email, voicemail, support for online teaching and other resources needed for quality teaching. Successful candidates may have the possibility of teaching additional courses in subsequent semesters.
Requirements:
Applicants must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption University.
Applicants should have a master's degree or PhD in Spanish or a related field. ABD graduate students with prior teaching experience will also be considered.
