Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr Analyst, Learning Analytics professional to lead analytics and reporting capabilities in the Learning & Performance (L&P) function. In this role you will be a pioneer in driving the application of data, analytics, and visualization techniques to assess and strengthen Effectv's organizational proficiency, business performance and learning investments. Learning Analytics Strategy & Execution: you will be empowered to develop an approach for data modeling, collection, and analysis. You will develop and execute an approach for collecting data across various platforms, tools and sources. Using your model, you will drive learning analytics by using statistical analysis techniques to identify insights & identify trends in talent competencies, skill and business performance. You will partner with L&P's Instructional Designers to design, develop or examine pre-, intra-, and post-course assessment questions. It will be critical in this role to create a link between organizational competency and business KPIs. Performance Reporting Strategy & Execution: you will be empowered to develop an approach for organizational competency and business performance reporting. You will implement methods for visualizing data and analysis and collaborate with the Learning Business Partner to enable Business Leaders in decision-making to drive talent, team and business KPIs. You will create standard frameworks and templates for consistent and impactful reporting across business areas. L&P is part of the Strategic Operations team which drives Effectv's Company Operating Plan efforts, and this position will report directly to the Senior Director, Learning & Performance. An ideal candidate for the L&P function is agile and intellectually curious, able to influence and provide thought leadership in their domain of Learning expertise while effectively navigating ambiguity and driving business outcomes with a learner-centric mindset. The individual must demonstrate business acumen and possess a passion for learning and driving a culture of organizational learning. Additionally, the ability to build outstanding and constructive working relationships with key stakeholders and foster an inclusive environment will be critical. All L&P team members will need to demonstrate these skills to ensure we collectively deliver optimal business value and customer impact.

Job Description

Summary of Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in the field of Data & Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Human Capital Analytics, Organizational Effectiveness or related field

6 years of Human Capital consulting experience, specifically in Learning Measurement and Analytics, Competency Frameworks, and Learning Assessments

6 years of proficiency in data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Apache Spark, Microsoft Excel, etc.

6 years of experience in Programming Languages such as Java, SQL, C or Python

Ability to demonstrate application of end to end Learning Methodologies (from Business Strategy/Needs Analysis to Impact Measurement/Reporting)

Experience designing and implementing learning measurement strategies with a focus on improving business results, leadership capability, talent strategy and organizational learning, preferably in an advertising company

6 years of end-to-end Project Management experience with ability to drive project activities even when resources are limited

Advertising industry a plus or high drive to quickly learn the industry and demonstrate value within the first 90 days in role

Requirements (Must Have)

Learning & Development Expertise: applied expertise in Learning, with a high degree of competency with adult learning principles and learning models; experience in curriculum development, instructional design, planning, facilitation, and implementing efficient learning solutions; proven success developing learning strategy and aligning leadership support

Analytical Skills: Demonstrated analytics experience; ability to analyze and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources to identify themes and develop compelling recommendations. Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends. Strong critical thinking ability to identify interdependencies between issues, data, and outcomes. Proven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, succinctly and with impact, understanding what is relevant vs. what is noise to audiences at all management levels

Storytelling: Demonstrated experience presenting and translating quantitative analysis to senior or executive leadership. Ability to socialize and adapt our learning value story to leaders at all levels of the organization

Strategy Development & Execution: Demonstrated learning consultation and presentation skills, specifically with recommending learning measurement and evaluation approaches. Established track record for taking a consultative approach to developing and driving a learning measurement & reporting strategy to positively impact business KPIs

Project Management experience in successfully conceptualizing, planning, managing, delivering, and monitoring multiple, concurrent, and complex workstreams in a matrixed organization with aggressive timelines

Business Acumen: understands the strategic business needs of the company and the impact of learning on meeting the development needs of employees to best serve our customers; leverages external marketplace research and business insights to drive outcomes

Relationship Building and Interpersonal Skills: builds outstanding and constructive working relationships with key stakeholders and business leaders at all levels across the organization, as well with peers and colleagues; organizationally savvy with a learner centric mindset; desires to collaborate and successfully operates across the organization

Inclusion and Diversity: focuses on creating an environment of honesty, inclusion, and respect for others; champions differing ideas and perspectives; embraces a creative, innovative approach to developing employees with a strong appreciation of our diverse employee and customer base

Preferences (Nice to Have)

Advanced degree or certifications in Statistics or Data Modeling, Finance, Human Capital, or Organizational Psychology

Experience driving learning metrics, analysis, and reporting (Kirkpatrick levels 1-4)

Proficiency in a Learning Management System (Workday Learning) and Learning Measurement/Assessment technologies
