The number of positions varies depending on the needs of the department and there is no guarantee that an open position currently exists. Appointments are renewed based on departmental need and teaching performance. Classes may be day or evening. Rank and compensation are based on experience and academic credentials.

Job Characteristic Duties: The School of Education invites you to submit an application to be included in the general pool of candidates from which part-time Instructors will be chosen to teach course(s) in the following programs: American Sign Language/Signed Language Interpreting, Curriculum & Instruction, Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, Educational Studies, English as a Second Language, Instructional Design and Technology, Field Supervision, Literacy & Second Language Studies, Middle Childhood Education, Secondary Education, or Special Education.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates for this position require a Bachelor’s degree or higher in specified program area or related field. Demonstrated organizational, written and oral communication skills are essential. The candidate's background must reflect effectiveness in interpersonal relationships and the ability to work harmoniously with a variety of interest groups. Candidates must have an ability to use Windows-based office software products.
