The Peninsula Medical School and Peninsula Dental School are inviting applications for a permanent full-time Lecturer in Quality Management and Research, to join the Faculty of Health to support various programmes and innovative research activity across the two Schools. You will work in conjunction with academic and research colleagues across designated areas in the medical and dental education programmes. You will contribute to the education of students and focus on scholarship activities supporting the development, embedding and evaluation of innovations in education, quality assurance, and professional regulation. A key area of activity will include your involvement in work to achieve compliance with the requirements of professional regulators such as the General Medical Council, the General Dental Council and the Health and Care Professions Council. You will play an active role in enhancing the quality management processes for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as achieving excellence in clinical education. Both schools have strategic priorities in enhancing the student experience across the different sites of both schools, the National Student Survey, the Student Perception Questionnaire and the Teaching Excellence Framework. You will be a member of the Peninsula Medical School Quality Excellence Unit. An important element of their work in both schools will be participation in research activities that are aligned to the research themes in both schools including clinical education research.
