invites qualified individuals to apply for the tenure track position as an

Assistant Professor of Human Biology

in the Department of Health Professions. Missoula College is seeking an individual with a passion for teaching human biology at the 100-and 200-level. A Fall 2022 hire date is anticipated.

A successful candidate is expected to possess expertise in teaching and learning in appropriate human biology area; ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff and the external community; and ability to contribute to the mission of Missoula College and the University of Montana.

Position Details

Position is full-time, Academic year (10 months), Faculty position and includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package

including Insurance package, mandatory retirement plan, partial tuition waiver, and wellness program.

Salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year commensurate with qualifications.

Required Qualifications

Candidates are required to possess at least a master's degree with the appropriate credentials to teach in one or more of the following areas: human biology, anatomy and physiology, or related content area

Ability to supervise and mentor adjunct faculty members.

Demonstrated proficiency in instructional methodology and curriculum design.

Demonstrated success teaching in human biology area, preferably in a two-year college setting.

Ability to collaborate with faculty members on other two- and four-year campuses.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD in Anatomy and Physiology or related field.

Familiarity with UM academic programs, policies, and procedures preferred.
