Description:

The Faculty of Health is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to join us to support the Plymouth Integrative Health and Social Care Education Centre (PIHC) project. PIHC is a Faculty-wide initiative, and working under the guidance of the PIHC Director and Project Manager you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the project, including: arranging and servicing meetings; gathering information and assisting with its analysis; helping to prepare reports, tenders, business cases and presentations; helping to arrange events; calendar management and travel booking. You will be a highly motivated, well organized person with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys working as part of a small, dynamic team. You will also have strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word, experience of using software to overcome administrative challenges and streamline processes and a working knowledge of collaborative platforms such as Microsoft Sharepoint and Teams. You should also enjoy problem solving, and have an innovative and flexible approach to tasks. In return, you will gain valuable experience in the support and management of projects and will be given every opportunity to improve your administrative, project management and technical skills. You will need to be flexible and able to work at any of our sites including the Main Campus, John Bull Building and PAHC and may be required to travel between any of our other sites. Interviews are expected to take place the week commencing 1 August 2022 and you will be notified if you have been shortlisted or not. We offer a competitive salary package and a generous pension and holiday scheme. We also offer a range of other benefits, including ongoing development opportunities. This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31st July 2024 in the first instance due to funding.
