The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine is offering two (2) faculty positions at the rank of Instructor, clinical position in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati. Clinical faculty position is expected to teach, have interest in productive scholarship or creative achievement, and willingness to collaborate with students and faculty for the betterment of the University. This position will support the University of Cincinnati’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff, and all of our activities.
Primary Duties: The Ophthalmologist will be responsible for managing patients with both acute and chronic vision needs. The candidate will demonstrate an advanced level of medical knowledge, with the ability to evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for routine and complex ophthalmological conditions. Ophthalmologist must demonstrate clinical and technical competence, sound clinical judgment, professionalism, and compliant and timely documentation.
Minimum Qualifications: Current/valid OD license to practice with prescriptive authority in the state of Ohio prior to start.
