The Assistant for Recreational Services supports the Seton Hall Department of Athletics and its mission by assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Richie Regan Recreation and Athletics Center. Responsibilities lie in three main areas: building supervision, intramurals/club sports, and fitness center operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The position will serve as the building manager on duty during shifts throughout the week. This includes oversight of the field house, fitness center and pool; incident and injury protocol; student staff supervision; and general maintenance tasks.

Intramural & club responsibilities include the supervision of intramural activities; recruiting, hiring, and training of student officials; develop and implement promotional efforts; home club contest oversight; as well as daily office operations.

Fitness Center responsibilities include the supervision/management of the venue and its student staff as well as maintenance and overview of equipment to ensure a safe and rewarding atmosphere for our members.

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree; 12 months experience in intramural officiating is preferred. Knowledge of fitness center operations.

Licenses and Certificates:

Valid Driver’s License, CPR and First Aid certifications. NIRSA membership preferred.
