The University of Plymouth Peninsula Dental School has a unique and exciting opportunity for an individual to work in our modern and innovative Dental School. You will have a broad and exciting portfolio of responsibilities that will include planning, delivery and supporting teaching and learning across all years of the BSc Dental Hygiene & Therapy and Bachelor of Dental Surgery programmes. You will support the education of students to develop a robust and relevant scientific and theoretical foundation to oral science relevant to their clinical work, through teaching and learning assessment and student support activities. You will also contribute to the development and success of the Dental School’s research activities. You will be an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is flexible and innovative in their approach to education and research. You must possess excellent communication skills and work well with in a team. The role presents significant personal development opportunities including registration for a teaching qualification. You must have a PhD in a related scientific subject.
