An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Administrator in the Research Support Team based within the Faculty of Health, helping to deliver a first class administrative support for this diverse and growing area within the faculty. You will need to have excellent communication, and team working skills together with a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to use your own initiative and to think critically. You will have some administration experience with a good working knowledge of software packages, and some experience of using databases for collecting, checking, monitoring, analysing and manipulating data. You will need to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment. You may be required to support other areas of the Team and University to meet the needs of the service. This will in turn provide developmental opportunities in which to broaden their experience. You will carry out research-related administration tasks in the support of excellence in all faculty research. This is a part-time position working 22.20 hours per week on a permanent basis. Flexible working options including job share will be considered. The role will be based at the John Bull Building, North Plymouth Campus, but you may be required to travel to other campus buildings. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 14th June 2022 and you will be notified if you have been shortlisted or not. A successful external candidate for this position would be employed by the University of Plymouth Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Plymouth.
