invites applications for a

Career Engagement/Recruitment Manager

to join their team. The Career Engagement and Recruitment Manager has four major job functions: set up and execute all COB employer fairs and networking events; coordinate campus interviews; engage students in the career development process; and facilitate communication and coordinating activities between the COB and UM office of Experiential Learning and Career Success.

Along with Director of Career Readiness and Employer Relations, manage and expand pipeline of recruiters and businesses to initiate and maintain recruiting relationships with COB

Work with COB faculty and student groups to develop and execute all employer fairs and networking events

Work with UM Office of Experiential Learning and Career Success to manage Handshake for COB (promote events, manage employer accounts and encourage student use)

Coordinate COB campus interviews

Develop and market all COB career workshops and presentations, including content creation, identifying desired outcomes, facilitation and follow up

Meet regularly and coordinate with Director of Career Readiness and Employer Relations

Required Skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Two years event planning experience.

One-year related work experience in student employment services

Ability to lift more than 25 pounds

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to develop an advanced working knowledge of Cascade web content management system and other systems used in the recruitment process

Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Minimum Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
