Description:
The Student Recruitment and Admissions department is a dynamic, thriving and crucial area of the University with periods throughout the year of high intensity. A proactive and enthusiastic individual is required to join the Events Team. Under the direction of the Events Team Leader and as a member of the team, you will contribute to the delivery of customer focused, cost effective and efficient on campus events to influence potential students to make well informed choices regarding university and course choice, ultimately resulting in an application to the University of Plymouth. You will work as part of team to support the organisation and delivery of a range of on campus events at an undergraduate and postgraduate level, such as open days, offer holder days, postgraduate open evenings and Clearing call centre. You will also be responsible for leading on the organisation of our University campus tours; both formal and ad hoc visits. You will develop and maintain a defined area of expertise in relation to student recruitment events, activities and initiatives whilst also developing and maintaining a breadth of skills to support flexible working across the wider team as required. You will be required to liaise with colleagues across the University and build relationships with external stakeholders. There will also be the requirement to work evenings and weekends. This role will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check plus a Children’s Barred List check.
