The Faculty of Science & Engineering and Faculty of Health is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive Technician to support the Biological Services Unit (BSU) at our North Campus. The units support the teaching and research activity for the Peninsula Medical School. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an amazing team in one of the bests cities to live in the UK. You will work closely with technical and academic staff and students, and you will be part of a team that provides key support for the research activities undertaken within the BSU. Your principle duties will be the husbandry and animal care. You will be expected to complete all duties to the high standards required by the Health & Safety Executive and the Home Office. You will have: The ablity to repeatedly work to set procedures with a high degree of attention to details Proven ability to multitask and to work as part of a team Highly organised and self-motivated High ethical standards Strong oral and written communication skills Interviews are likely to take place in November 2022 and you will be notified by email if you have been shortlisted or not.
