Description:
King University, an NCAA Division-II member institution and member of the Conference Carolinas, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a part- time, as needed. This position will assist in providing care for King’s 25 varsity intercollegiate sports teams. The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing assistance to the Head Athletic Trainer in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, referral, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses to over 450 student-athletes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; NATABOC certification; eligible for State of Tennessee Athletic Training Licensure; two or more years of experience as a certified athletic trainer; current Professional Rescuer CPR/AED & First Aid certification; basic computer skills. Candidates should be well-organized and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Effective verbal and written communications skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree; experience working in coeducational/NCAA collegiate environment; experience with ATS computer system; Additional certifications are desirable.
