:,ActualValueFromSolar:null},{QuestionName:Job Summary,AnswerValue:JOB OVERVIEW\u003cbr/\u003eThe Associate Professor position is an integral part of a larger team of faculty and staff conducting research on molecular and other markers related to risk prediction, prevention, and identification of mechanisms associated with a number of chronic diseases, including type 2 diabetes and preterm birth, and particularly in the highest risk populations based on race and other social factors. \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eThe individual will assist with study administration, preparation of forms and application materials for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and other regulatory requirements, data management and analysis, preparation of materials for dissemination (e.g., grants/progress reports, manuscripts, presentations), and administrative tasks like calendar management/meeting schedules and travel arrangements. S/he will also be a resource to trainees (i.e., graduate students) working in the laboratory and required to facilitate access to electronic data files, lab resources, and overall administrative support for trainees (under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI). \u003cbr/\u003e\u003cbr/\u003eThe Associate Professor will have primary responsibility for planning and administration of meet with the weekly and ad hoc research team meetings.
