The newly-formed School of Society and Culture is looking for an exceptional individual to deliver teaching in Criminology. You will join a dynamic, friendly and supportive team, and will work in an energetic multidisciplinary environment that combines Anthropology, Criminology and Sociology and provides many opportunities to develop innovate teaching and research across disciplinary boundaries. The subjects comprising the School of Society and Culture have a reputation for research of national and international excellence and consistently gain top NSS results. The role involves designing and delivering exciting courses in our world-class BSc (Hons) Criminology programmes and postgraduate taught and research programmes. You will additionally participate in student assessment. You will have, or be close to achieving a PhD in Criminology, with proven experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We welcome applications from exceptional scholars whose research and teaching interests complement and expand the School of Society and Culture’s, notably in the area of digital criminology, for example cyber-crime and digital terrorism.
