Suffolk University Law School,\u00A0 Boston, is seeking an experienced motivated Associate Director of Operations and Systems to join and enhance the Office of Academic Services team its role of providing high quality services to constituents.\u00A0\u00A0 The Associate Director is primarily responsible for the technical operational functions of the office including the management of examinations software, student access databases in the areas of Commencement, Exam Accommodations, Exam Rescheduling, Petitions, and Graduation Review. The position plays a key role in the transition from our current SIS system to Workday moving toward implementation in Fall 2024.Responsible for graduation and commencement information, statistical reporting, degree data for the commencement program, degree application tracking, and concentration, specialization and pro bono certificates. Works collaboratively with URO to ensure accurate production of diplomas.Oversight of the database system- Datatel Colleague elements, Query and Informer\u00A0 report writingBuild and regularly maintain MS Access databases that are used to manage exam and graduation information (Accommodations, Degree Review, petitions and exam rescheduling, Commencement) Assists with commencement (venue, program)Assists faculty with grade calculationsWorks closely with the Assistant Dean of Academic Services and responsible for updating and maintaining all existing administrative and staff operational/procedural policies Other duties as assigned.\u00A0Utilize the Examsoft software to facilitate and implement the Examination process on Examsoft which includes creating remote examinations when needed, exam response shells, multiple choice responses.\u00A0 This requires student data upload, exam date/time setup and posting, manage accommodation settings, synchronize student exam numbers by course, download examination responses, print/zip completed exams to professors Manage take home exam set up on Learning Management System, including exam pick up and due date settings, and download of exam responses, maintaining anonymity where requiredManaging the assignment and distribution of lockers\u00A0 Converts publications to Flipping Book formatManages course descriptions in Colleague and on the Web; Accountable for data/collection/analysis and preparation of reports for decision makingAssumes daily responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant Dean of Academic Services Position/Requirements:Facility with a variety of software tools, including query and reports.
