General Description of Position:

Under the direction of the Director of CRM Operations, this role provides planning and administration of the college’s Salesforce CRM platform. This also involves technologies that integrate with CRM that are aligned with the vision, mission, and priorities of the College.

Major Responsibilities:

Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce CRM environment leveraging the Education Data Architecture (EDA) with several thousand users.

Handle all administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports, dashboards, workflows, data structures, integrations and other routine tasks.

Complete regular internal system audits to ensure security and business compliance.

Evaluate new releases of Salesforce CRM to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.

Manage Salesforce CRM data feeds and other integrations and maintains all technological resources associated with end users.

Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce CRM for extracting insights from data for advancing business key performance indicators.

Serve as the translator connecting the application developers, business people, and users.

Determine and document business user requirements.

Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.

Perform solution design, prototyping, and proof-of-concepts, as required in support of current and new projects.

Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.

Identify best practices in the use of the Salesforce CRM and disseminate.

Assist in the design of training material to grow the Salesforce CRM skill set.

Provide onboarding training to new users to support quicker participation in Salesforce CRM related processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with Salesforce CRM platform.

Salesforce certification highly desired.

Earned Salesforce Trailhead badges required.

Understanding of Delivery and Project Management frameworks, methodologies, and practices (Agile, Scrum) desired but not required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must be a good listener.

Excellent project management and Salesforce CRM admin skills with a positive attitude.

Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.

Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
