JOB OVERVIEW
The Liu research group (weiliulab.org) in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cincinnati is currently accepting applications for a post-doctoral associate position. Our lab focuses on developing innovative synthetic organic approaches.
This is a one-year appointment that may be renewed to additional one-year terms, contingent upon available funding and satisfactory performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The successful candidate in this role, will conduct independent research focused on developing and understanding new transition metal-catalyzed bond-forming reactions.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Completion of a PhD in Chemistry is required by the appointment date.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*Background in transition metal catalysis, fluoroalkylation, copper chemistry. *Strong publication record. *Previous postdoc experience is ideal.
