JOB OVERVIEW
Accessibility Resources is hiring a Program Coordinator for Regional Campus Programs to develop and deliver supports services that foster student success, inclusion and belonging for disabled students at the UC regional campuses (Blue Ash and Clermont). The coordinator will develop accessibility related program objectives and monitor data on progress toward those objectives, including for the Sensory and Wellness Room initiative and programming. They will provide information to students and members of the campus community on the rights and responsibilities regarding accessibility and reasonable accommodations. The coordinator will support Accessibility staff in the implementation of accommodations; proctoring of exams; the management and support of accessible technology for students; and in maintaining private and confidential student accommodation files in the online student accommodation file management system.
This position will work primarily at the UC Blue Ash campus but may provide occasional support at the UC Clermont campus. While mostly an on-campus position, the coordinator will be eligible for a flexible work schedule during the academic year and a hybrid work schedule during summer semesters and slower times in the academic calendar.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Design/create and conduct seminars, classes, workshops or programs. *Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement. *Provide financial administrative support for program initiatives. *Develop, administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports. *Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit students and program participants. *Interact with staff faculty, external agencies and other university departments. *May conduct research and analyze relevant literature, other benchmark information to develop grant proposals, new program ideas and propose program changes. *May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
REQUIRED EDUCATION
*Bachelor's Degree. *Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of program coordination experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
*At least one year of higher education experience, particularly in a community college or open access setting. *At least one year working in other community disability or rehabilitation programs or settings. *Prior experience working with students or employees with disabilities. *Understanding of disability identity and culture. *Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504, and Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards.

*Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
