This position will assist with the day-to-day management of the Office of Financial Services, and reports to the Director for Graduate Student Financial Services. The Managing/Associate Director assists in the execution of the financial aid program designed to assist graduate and professional students with their investment in a Suffolk education. The Managing/Associate Director also collaborates with the director to ensure the policies and practices in financial aid will create outstanding customer service moments for current and prospective Suffolk students.\u00A0\u00A0 The Managing/Associate director will work to eliminate barriers that students may face and create efficient, service friendly ideas for the benefit of students.Expertise and knowledge of graduate and professional student Financial Aid processes and procedures; knowledge of Federal Financial Aid programs, regulations and guidelines; proficiency with the use of job-related software programs; skill in interpersonal relations and ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers.Primary Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with federal financial aid regulations.\u00A0 Maintain up-to-date policies, procedures, and state or federal laws that may impact department initiatives. Develop and/or assist with the development of policies and procedures and recommends changes to effectively meet the goals and requirements of the program.
