Mathematical Sciences at the University of Plymouth is a supportive, welcoming group of academics working on applied and pure mathematics, data science and statistics, and theoretical physics. We have an opportunity for candidates to join us for two 12 month positions. The Roles: We wish to appoint two 12 month fixed term Lecturers in the Mathematical Sciences. The starting date will be the 1st of January 2022 or as close to that as possible. You will contribute to our range of UG teaching and MSc student supervision. You will be supported by fellow academics and a mentor. Our teaching is at undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as service teaching across the University. Teaching will be allocated according to previous experience. You will be expected, and supported, to carry out research in the Mathematical Sciences. You will be distinguished by A PhD in the Mathematical Sciences [Essential] Research experience in the broad area of data science and statistics is preferred but researchers across the Mathematical Sciences are encouraged to apply.
