invites applications for a
Director of Clinical Experiences
. The Director of Clinical Experiences works with the Department of Teaching and Learning faculty, the Director of Accreditation, and P-12 school partners on the development, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality clinical experiences as an integral component of the teacher preparation program curriculum. The Director is a key representative of the UM Phyllis J. Washington College of Education in the college’s work with P-12 educational partners. The position reports directly to the Associate Dean of the College of Education. Main duties include:
Oversight of teacher candidate clinical placements.
Mentorship, support, and supervision of teacher candidates.
Provide leadership in continuous improvement efforts within the context of clinical experience accreditation standards.
Data tracking.
Developing and maintaining partnerships.
Preparing, implementing, and following policies and procedures.

Position Details
Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, MUS Contract and includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package
including Insurance package, mandatory retirement plan, partial tuition waiver, and wellness program.
Salary for this position is $65,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in education or a related field.
Three years of successful teaching experience in a P-12 school.
Experience supervising or mentoring.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a leadership role.
