JOB OVERVIEW
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. College of Nursing invites applications for our Clinical Adjunct Instructors from which part time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term and (as needed). The number of positions varies depending on the needs of the department. Appointments are renewed based on departmental need and teaching performance.  On a part-time limited basis, the Cliniclal Adjunct Faculty Member's primary responsibility is  patient care, patient support and teaching, discovering, creating, and reporting knowledge to a diverse set of students.
All applicants for this position must have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject. Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars. *Primary responsibility is patient care, patient support, and/or teaching and program development in the clinical services. *May serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework. *Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities. *Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications. *Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*Academic degree in an appropriate disciple and prior teaching experience. *Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject. *Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds. *BSN and 2 years of experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Must have obtained a BSN from a regionally accredited college or university of recognized standing in a field appropriate to the requirments of the position.

REQUIRED TRAININGS/CERTIFICATIONS
Requires a current and active Ohio RN license.
