Create prototypes and package applications for classrooms and labs. Install new microcomputer hardware and software. Diagnose and repair microcomputer and software problems in classrooms and open labs. Maintain network connectivity for all microcomputers and peripherals. Support faculty, staff and students in use of classroom and lab technology. Assist in training students and faculty on various classroom technology including software and hardware.
Requirements:
AA degree in IT field or 3 years of experience in technical computer field required.
Knowledge of current Apple, Microsoft and Linux operating systems, software, and environments.
Experience with virtualization technology such as VMware ESX.
Expertise in imaging programs such as Ghost.
Certified Microsoft Certified Professional and A Certified preferred.
Expertise in automated deployment tools of MS software/OS.
