The position is full-time for a period of one year, but may be extended to two years upon annual performance evaluation.

WORK LOCATIONS
*Engineering Research Building (2901 Woodside Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45221) *Medical Science Building (231 Albert Sabin Way, Cincinnati OH 45267).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Dr. Esfandiari welcomes applications from exceptional postdoctoral candidates interested in pursuing interdisciplinary research in the field of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative medicine. *The position requires a highly motivated and independent researcher with background on cell and molecular biology, natural and synthetic biomaterials, bioprinting and/or electrospinning of 3D scaffolds. *The postdoctoral fellow will be joining a collaborative team including the Principal Investigator, scientists and faculty at Cincinnati Children's hospital and UC college of Medicine. *The postdoctoral fellow will work on design, fabrication and characterization of novel smart 3D scaffolds for organ on a chip and organoid medicine.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, material science and engineering, or a related engineering or science discipline. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in bioprinting and electrospinning.
