SUMMARY
Under general supervision, Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of MPS Culinary & Wellness Services Department food safety systems including HACCP, SSOPs and SPSs.

Essential duties and responsibilities MAY include, but are not limited to, the following:
*Coordinates and maintains all aspects of the food safety system including the preventive action, corrective action, and document management. *Coordinates the food safety and quality internal audit process and validates or verifies actions for the central production facility. *Assists in monitoring, recording, analysis, and reporting on the food safety and quality control system. *Creates new and edit existing food safety and quality control system procedures and forms. *Assists the production and warehouse staff with food safety or quality control system problems and suggests solutions. *Ensures adherence of food service programs to Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, as well as district requirements. *Demonstrates courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with students, clients, visitors, and MPS staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment. *Enthusiastically promotes the Superintendent's goals and priorities in compliance with all policies and procedures. *Maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, records, and MPS information.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
Associate's Degree or two-year technical certificate in a closely related field; AND three (3) years of professional experience in School Nutrition; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as determined by Human Resources. KNOWLEDGE OF:
