u00A0The SBS Undergraduate Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Undergraduate Programs, SBS Deanu2019s Office.u00A0 Coordinators work directly with the SBS Deanu2019s Office to support all academic and related co-curricular activities that relate to SBS undergraduate students.u00A0In consultation with the Director of UG Programs, coordinators will prioritize responsibilities for SBS UG Programs, including tasks specific to SBS academic departments. u00A0 This includes, but not limited to:Undergraduate Course SchedulingWorking as a team, review and enter all SBS UG coursesAssist in monitoring waitlists and course enrollments Advising Coordinate training for faculty with the Undergraduate Academic Advising CenterAssign faculty advisors to students and keep assignments updatedCoordinate and plan department group advising events, face-to-face and virtual.Event Planning and Programming (face-to-face and virtual)Coordinate all logistical arrangements (room reservations, catering orders, etc.)CommunicationsCatalogue UpdatesPromotional materials for Open House and Showcase eventsProvide details of department events to be included in the bi-weekly BSBA Bottomline NewsletterSummer ProgrammingAssist with SBS summer high school programs, including being present for specific events.Honors ProgrammingSupport for events, as directed by the Assistant Dean and/or Director of UG ProgramsOrientation ProgrammingSupport UG Programs Retention Initiatives and ProgrammingIncluded, but not limited to, First Year Experience programmingSupport new UG initiatives as neededCreating Reports for Academic Departments and UG ProgramsGenerating Data - using Colleague, Informer, Qualtrics, Excel etc.Creating Visualsu2013 using Excel, PPT, etc. Scheduling and entry for SBS courses Department schedulescareerLinksSBS101INTOMonitoring general SBS UG email. Collect and maintain syllabi on shared drive every semester.Coverage of SBS Deanu2019s Office Front Desk, as needed. Other tasks and responsibilities as neededRequirements/Qualifications:Three to five years of office experience required. Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required.u00A0 Experience using databases is helpful. Experience in social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn and/or Qualtric) desired but not requiredStrong written and oral communication skills. Must be committed to providing the highest level of customer service and responsiveness.u00A0 Must have strong attention to detail.Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, meet deadlines, and anticipate needs in a busy office setting with frequent interruptions.u00A0 Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.u00A0 Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive materials and matters with tact, discretion, and sound judgment.Must be creative and proactive to ensure efficient operation of the office and must have ability to resolve problems.u00A0Standard hours of this position are 8:45am to 4:45 pm, M-F, with an occasional evening oru00A0 weekend during the academic year if an event is scheduled.u00A0
