: Suzuki String Academy is a music institute dedicated to building a vibrant strings community in Sandpoint Idaho. Established in 2019 our rapidly growing studio has over 65 students on Violin, Cello, Piano and voice. Students participate in weekly group classes. Visit ****Duties
: Part time beginning Fall 2021
Provide weekly private lessons for students ages 3
Instruct group string classes as assigned
Lead sectionals for School orchestra as assigned
Attend faculty meetings and school events
Maintain studio schedule and attendance records
Communicate with studio families
Qualifications
: Suzuki training: Violin unit 1 through at least 3 training. Through book 5/6 is preferable. Viola unit 1-2 training preferred.
At least 5 years teaching experience working with all levels. Applicant should enjoy working with books 2 – 6 students ages elementary through high school.
Salary
: Hourly wage determined by education and experience, with opportunities to grow. Teachers are independent contractors. The Academy has limited funds for professional development.
