The Optometry Programme, within the School of Health Professions at the University of Plymouth, is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our group and be part of our teaching and research activities. You will work as part of the Optometry team to provide innovative teaching including; the design and preparation of teaching materials, course planning and delivery, and assessment. We are proud to be ranked as one of the top programmes for student satisfaction in the most recent National Student Survey. Experience of clinical practice as an Optometrist, and registration with the General Optical Council, are essential for the role. As part of our Eye & Vision research group you will have the opportunity to contribute to our research programme and to publications and grant funding applications if applicable. Based in the Faculty of Health, the School of Health Professions has something for everyone interested in health and care-related professions and is committed to shaping our students into the best health professionals they can be.
