assistant professor of business (marketing)
starting in August 2022. The assistant professor of business (marketing) is responsible for teaching a standard academic course load as assigned by the chair of the Department of Business, Accounting, and Economics and/or the Director of the Master of Business Administration program. The Department currently offers four undergraduate degrees in business (Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, and International Business), numerous minor concentrations, and an M.B.A. degree. Departmental coursework focuses on building informed perspectives needed by professionals in the global fields of business administration, accounting, and economics, while stressing the development of critical thinking, creativity, and communications skills.
This position requires a Ph.D. in Marketing, Communications, Market Research, or a related field. ABD candidates nearing dissertation completion will be considered. A prior record of teaching excellence in higher education will be strongly considered, with preference given to a record demonstrating experience with traditional, blended, and online delivery. Qualifications to teach courses in additional disciplines such as business communications are also highly desirable, along with familiarity in ACBSP business school accreditation standards via a commitment to the assessment of learning outcomes.
