This new one-year, fixed-term, 0.5 FTE Faculty Communications Coordinator role will support implementation of the Faculty priorities of income generation and international profile-raising, in particular through improving our digital brand awareness.
The Faculty consists of six departments, Classics & Ancient History, English Studies, History, Music, Philosophy and Theology & Religion, and the School of Modern Languages & Cultures. Research centres working bet contribute to the vibrant cultural and educational environment in our Faculty. In addition to our strong disciplinary focus we also committed to interdisciplinary collaboration, working in areas such as health and medicine, digital and data science, environmental sustainability and creativity, culture, and heritage.
Reporting to the Faculty Manager and working closely with the Deputy Executive Deans and business partners responsible for marketing, communications and internationalisation, the Faculty Communications Coordinator will provide proactive high-quality support to departments across the Faculty in all aspects of marketing and communications activities. The post holder will work across a number of areas, including operations, web, social media, internal and external communications, and content management. This role is providing an ideal entry point for building a career in this area of work.
