Salesforce Administrator Technical **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., Information Technology Services (ITS) - located on the Fairfax, VA, campus - invites applications for a Salesforce Administrator Technical position within the Enterprise Applications Support & Development team. **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. has a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff, and strongly encourages candidates to apply who will enrich Mason's academic and culturally inclusive environment.About the Position:The Salesforce Administrator is a key member of the Enterprise Applications Support & Development team, providing front line technical administration and support of Salesforce including: support of daily operations & change management, configuration changes, reporting, training, QA Testing, troubleshooting and working with stake holders to ensure that applications meet their current and evolving needs. The Salesforce Administrator must have a deep technical understanding of the Salesforce platform and its capabilities and will be expected to make recommendations regarding the ongoing Salesforce deployment.The Salesforce Administrator will be a member of the Enterprise Applications Support & Development team and be responsible for day to day support and maintenance of Mason's Salesforce/CRM platform. This role will collaborate with Salesforce Developers/Admins, other ITS teams and functional units such as Enrollment Management and Provost's Office, client stakeholders and end users to support, enhance and expand Salesforce operations and adoption. For the end users, the Salesforce Administrator will provide operational and technical support.Responsibilities:Support of daily operations, configuration changes, reporting, training, troubleshooting and working with stakeholders to ensure that applications meet their current and evolving needs;Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades;User access control and provisioning/de-provisioning;Work with EASD Salesforce developers on evaluation, scope, QA/Testing, release management and documentation of development projects;Work with functional administrators and other stakeholders on enforcement of governance, security and operational standard operating procedures and task coordination;Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs;Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes;Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams;Responsible for creating and/or maintaining objects and related fields within the platform;Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations;Within the platform, this individual will create and maintain views, reports and dashboards; andPerform tasks related to backup/disaster recovery and related documentation.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required;Exceptional understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality;Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization;Experience w/ Demand Tools and/or Apex Data Loader;Informatica Cloud (or equivalent ETL/Integration tool); andSalesforce Lightning Connector and relational databases.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated experience as Salesforce Admin (2-4 years preferred); andSFDC Administrator Certification preferred (or equivalent experience).Salary is commensurate with education and experience.**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is a great place to work where employees are given an opportunity to develop skills and expand horizons.
