JOB OVERVIEW
Open Rank Professor- Adjunct Represented (0.75 FTE)
Final rank and title will be commensurate with education and experience.

Department of Clinical and Health Information Sciences is searching for a 75% FTE Represented Adjunct faculty member who will contribute to the department's teaching and service missions. This is a 12-Month per year position with rank commensurate with education and experience.
The Open Rank Represented Adjunct position is primarily responsible for teaching assigned courses in all tracks of the Advanced Medical Imaging Technology program. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to primary instruction of didactic, laboratory and clinical courses using face-to-face and online delivery modalities; grading, participation in recruitment, retention, and admissions and advising activities; participation in program committee work including program evaluation, accreditation tasks, affiliate contract maintenance, and other program tasks/directives. Participation in service and/or scholarship to the department and college are also required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars. *May serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework. *Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities. *Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all university-related communications. *Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*Master degree. *Baccalaureate degree in Medical Imaging. *Nationally recognized credentials in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT), and Computed Tomography (CT). *Five or more years clinical experience in medical imaging. *Current knowledge and skill in the use of computer technology and educational learning systems. *Strong organizational skills; strong interpersonal skills, including communication, problem solving, counseling, conflict management, and follow-through. *Ability to work independently. *Ability to take direction and coordinate work with colleagues and peers. *Interest and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Academic degree in an appropriate discipline.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
*Prior teaching experience. *Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject. *Must have outstanding writing skills to present research in written format. *Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.
