React Native Tutor and Assistant Programmer
I have designed a user interface for iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. I am designing the program flow.
I want a knowledgeable programmer who can work with me GMT-7 (my timezone) to build my app.
I expect the initial project to be a couple (2-3) months in duration. If we are successful I have more work planned in the future.
Your task would be to help me setup my development environments and work with me on a daily basis.
I expect you to be very familiar with React Native and things like Expo Snack and possibly Shoutem. Which we may decide is the answer for us to build the app with.
If you want to have this job, you will have to show me that you know how to code in React Native. I will ask you to build a small single or double feature app and I will watch you build it. This is the only way I can be sure we are not wasting each others time.
I am 61 and have been in software industry for over 35 years. I have had a team as large as 85 engineers under me and now I am semi-retired. Looking for something to keep my mind active.
If you send me a canned boilerplate response that you are the right person for me and have build many great apps and websites. Do not expect a response.
I will only reply to someone who has an excellent command of written English and has read my job posting.
