The University of Plymouth Peninsula Dental School is looking to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated, enthusiastic academic to contribute to the teaching, supervision, assessment and research across its highly successful Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. The School is currently #1 in the Guardian League Table 2022 and #3 in the 2021 NSS. We particularly welcome applications from clinically qualified candidates with an interest for enhancing clinical and professional learning and assessment to prepare for practice; and with an interest in developing and supporting research activities across the School and Faculty. You will be an excellent communicator and an evidence based educator with a commitment to developing our undergraduate and postgraduate offers, research outputs and School objectives. You will be expected to facilitate learning across a range of clinical and academic arenas; support a range of wider School activities including for example admissions, Fitness to Practise panels, Academic tutoring; and actively involved in planning and delivering programmes of research. You will have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree and further academic qualification, full registration with the UK General Dental Council (GDC) be an active clinician and have or be willing to gain a qualification or recognition of teaching in HE, and a performer number.
