invites applications for a
Program Coordinator II
to assist with meeting our initiatives for improving the health of older adults across the state of Montana. The Program Coordinator II
will work under supervision of the MTGEC Associate Director, and will assist the MTGEC team with the organization, direction, development, and coordination of multiple MTGEC programs, budget management, data entry and grant reporting efforts. They will also provide support and assistance with public relations and communications. This position requires the ability to take initiative, adapt easily to change, work independently, and be detail oriented. There may be some travel required.
Required Skills

Experience with program coordination
Effective communication with program stakeholders
Ability to facilitate and manage working relationships with campus departments, faculty, staff and students
Ability to work productively and professionally with diverse populations
General understanding of older adult health care needs
Basic Marketing skills
Demonstrate provision of exemplary customer service with effective interpersonal, public relations, and communication skills
Thorough written, verbal, and interpersonal communications
Adaptable and flexible, can handle multiple tasks and projects
Strong organization skills
Ability to think analytically and problem solve
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and integrated databases (for example, Banner or Access)
Minimum Required Experience
High school diploma (or equivalency), as well as at least one (1) year of related work experience; or any combination of experience and education that would provide the competencies required to successfully complete the duties assigned to the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Possess experience with computers, website development, public relations, communications
Background or interest in working with older adults and/or programs for older adults, as well as an interest in working with students, faculty, and healthcare professionals.
