JOB OVERVIEW
UC Clermont College is seeking to hire a term Adjunct to teach Philosphy courses. On a part-time limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member's primary academic functions include teaching, discovering, creating, and reporting knowledge to a diverse set of students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate courses. *Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities. *Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*MA Degree in Philosophy or related area, but must have at least 18 graduate credit hours in Philosophy. *Must also be able to teach in person classes at UC Clermont Colleges campus. *Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject. *Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED
Preference given to candidates who can teach Philosophy and the Environment along with having the ability to use the Canvas Learning platform.
