The School of Computing at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. wishes to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Computer Science until 31st January 2024. You will be involved in curriculum development, a wide range of teaching duties and contribute to support extra curricular activities for our students.  In particular, you will support the development of our MSc Data Analytics and MSC Cyber Security programmes for online delivery.
You will be joining a large diverse school with strong recruitment to a broad range of on-campus and distance-learning BCS accredited courses spanning the computing discipline. The School attracts students from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures both from within the UK and elsewhere in the world.
Your duties will include teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will also be asked to take on administrative and other management activities appropriate to the post, including assessment, student recruitment and module co-ordination. You will also be expected to keep your teaching up to date with recent developments in the field. Also, you are expected to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate project supervision in Data Analytics, Machine Learning and/or Cyber Security
The role requires excellent communication and management skills, a willingness to engage with a broad range of data analytics and computer science topics, concern for development of the students and an enthusiasm for the development of innovative teaching initiatives.
You should have attained a PhD or equivalent in the computer science discipline and should, ideally, also have relevant industrial experience.
