Description:
King University is accepting applications for part-time/adjunct faculty to teach courses in the asynchronous online environment for its CSWE-accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Program. King University faculty members work collaboratively to provide high quality academic experiences for students in a supportive, Christ-centered environment. Courses may include the following topics:
• Generalist Practice,
• Family and Group Practice,
• Community and Organizations Practice,
• Social Work Foundations,
• Research and Evaluation,
• Human Behavior and the Social Environment (HBSE),
• Writing for Social Workers
• Social Welfare Policy
• Human Diversity
• Field Education Practicum
Courses are offered during the fall, spring, and summer semesters in five-week and/or 15-week modules.
Interested candidates must submit the following; • cover letter,
• Integrative Faith and Learning Statement, formatted in APA style (7th ed.), Times New Roman, 12-pt. font, double-spaced, with title and reference page included.

• Transcripts (Unofficial transcripts may be submitted at the time of application)
Minimum Qualifications:
Faculty who teach social work courses must possess a minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program and a minimum of two-years of post MSW social work practice experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
The PhD in Social Work is preferred, but not required. The exception to these qualifications is in teaching the Research course. Computer literacy is essential. Experience with trauma-informed knowledge and practice is a plus.
