This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator to join the Clinical Liaison Team at the Faculty of Health to cover a period of maternity leave. The Clinical Liaison Team is responsible for providing comprehensive management and administration of the medical and dental schools' clinical placements. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well organised individual to take up the post of Assistant Administrator (Dental). You will support the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Dental Therapy and Hygiene (DTH) programmes with administration of clinical supervision and Specialist Care Visits as well as supporting the Senior Clinical Liaison Administrator. You will be expected to liaise with our clinic staff in addition to colleagues in partner organisations about placements and maintain the student digital learning environment. In addition, you will help arrange clinical supervisor payments, student travel bursary payments, and process staff/student name badge orders. The post will be located at our North campus in the John Bull Building, Plymouth Science Park, Derriford, Plymouth, PL6 8BU. You will be expected to work in the John Bull Building for most of the time, however we do offer informal hybrid working arrangements. This is a part-time position working 18.5 hours per week on a fixed-term basis up to 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave. The current post-holder works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and our preference would be to continue the same days. You will be a highly motivated, well organised individual, who has experience of office administration. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and a meticulous attention to detail. You will be an effective communicator who can work effectively as part of a team.
