The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases is looking for an academic clinician at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Duties for the Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases will include contributing to the clinical/patient care, research and teaching missions of the division.  Clinical/patient care responsibilities will include general infectious disease consultations and ambulatory clinics. Duties will also encompass an active role in departmental fellowship programs, resident and medical student teaching. Teaching duties will include precepting of fellows, medical students and/or residents in your office based practice as well as providing lectures or leading small group discussions as part of the COM or residency curriculum, clinical case conferences, core curricula and journal clubs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Prior to effective date of appointment, must have an MD or DO degree; be Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases as defined by ACGME, completed 3-year Internal Medicine residency and completed 2-year Infectious Disease fellowship training and, have a current OH medical license.
